Reflecting along the river

I couldn't chose which of these black and white stumps I liked better. I am leaning towards the first as its less cluttered. But I do like the layers of reflection and the thin boarder of the bank in the second.

1) is very crisp, sharp, looks like the roots are leading your eye to inside the river.

2) is a fascinating river shadow study. With trees, roots, leaves. Bordered with white roots at top, rocks at bottom

3) is a great collection of water circles at random, with "matching" rocks beneath.

Good forest lurking shots!

Thank you; I will be getting more creative with the reflections...I just couldn't resist the puddles and soft pooling of water along the banks. And the guys I was Lurking the banks with came up with this great game of "Ruin Caitlin's Photo" by throwing rocks in the middle of my frame. Though, I ended up really enjoying the outcome in the end.

3) The patterns of of rain drops with round rocks are compelling. I like the muted colors. My favorite!

2)I get lost and don't know where to focus on the middle image.

1) Like the reflection mirroring the tree, nice composition. Wish the tree trunk had more texture. It's a bit blown-out. It's difficult to manage the brights and darks of this kind of photo!
