Green Sari

I wanted to add this to my summer project photographs. It was taken at an Indian festival at Marymoore. The woman in the Sari knew that I was photographing her group from a short distance away as she was waiting to perform. I kept waiting for the sun to hit her face but wanted the shadows to remain on her gown and all around her. I really like this photo and hope that you do also.

Cosmo

Cosmos are one of those flowers that bloom in the late summer and are so beautiful in their simplicity and colors. This Cosmo was photographed early in the morning with the sun just shining on it.

Bumblebee in Dahlia

Dahlias are not my favorite flower to photograph. They are just to uniform and so I always look for something extra when I photograph them. My sister-in-law has beautiful dahlias and lots of bees in her garden. I had fun a couple of weekends ago just watching them hard at work collecting pollen and in some cases getting so heavy with the pollen that they had trouble flying. This little guy was really stuck in the petals and I'm not sure if he ever got out but he was a very hardworking bee.

lavender

Organizing photos is something I definitely need to learn. I like macro fotos, but can't find. This was part of a book I made for a friend - fotos of her new home.

Cat

Cat, again.

Oliver

This is a friend's cat, Oliver.

GSD

I walk with a german shepherd club every sunday, so there will be a lot of these too. This is in winter in Tulsa.

Hudson

This is my grandson, so you will see lots of him. He's very white and so I have exposure problems.
