Abstract art seeks to break away fromtraditional representation of physical objects. Itexplores the relationships of forms and colors,whereas more traditional art represents the world inrecognizable images.

Abstract

Manmade objects in landscape -

Sunset from my front porch.

This is the second image i took.
I think I like the first one better because it's cleaner. But i do like the red car in the foreground of the second.

Disrupting flights

This C130 Hercules has been broke down on the runway for a few days, disrupting flights in and out of Butte for days. Thomas and I went out and photographed it from the Cemetery, standing in the pickup bed to try and get a better angle. The sun setting to the west highlighting the colors form the Berkley Pit really made it a unique image.

Photo of the Week - Spring?

After four weeks of blue sky, 50 degrees, and spring in the air...we now have daily snow flurries. Not enough to stick, but enough to keep "spring" at bay...
