At night, flash reflects off a spider

Not what I originally had in mind when I thought about the
topic of reflections. Of course, light from a flash is reflected light.
And, when you are shooting out into space, there is nothing for
the flash to bounce off. Except the spider and
the filaments of its web.

Love the up close view... Great light on the web so it's only partial seen which keeps the focus on the spider!

Great pic!!!

eeeeekkkk! It's a spider!!!

I love the reflection coming from the web. I have never thought of photographing the webs at night. we have so many around our yard! I think I will have a new adventure....go lurking through the back yard!

What a great way to get rid of unwanted background! Sharp focus for spider and web (can be tough to do in a closeup shot). Another compelling image!
