September 2007The three views really show the weather and landscape changes. Last year Spring came earlier to the mountain.
I made several trips to Artist Point and I have two photos taken at picture lake that represent early spring for the Mountain (first week in July) with snow and ice still on the lake, and early September when Spring had actually arrived. They show the contrast of the weather at a higher altitude.

It's interesting to see 3 different views of Artist Point: early spring, late summer and fall.
The red berries (or leaves) add punch to the fall photo.
Is this Mt. Rainier or Alaska or...? It looks similar to some of the Rainier hikes I've done.
