This past weekend, 30 haiku poets met at Seabeck on Hood Canal for readings, workshops and community. We each brought a trifold sheet of our haiku. I used an inverse black & white image to provide space for the haiku.
When combining photos with haiku, you look for images that relate yet don't exactly match the words creating a resonance between image and text.
