I used Glowing Edges under the Stylize Filter in Photoshop, turned it into black and white, then inverted it so it was a mainly white canvas and black/grey lines. added a few numbers using the text and taa dddaaaaaa! Paint by Numbers!

I really like the effect of the major work that went into this pic! true paint by numbers! you go girl!!!
Very clever! One could make cards for coloring. example: kids cards of familiar things (their house, dog or cat, themselves) and let them take it from there.
