Did I mention I REALLY wish I had a 500mm lens? This is another shot at Famosa Slough... a 37-acre urban wetland/saltwater marsh. This Great Egret (Ardea alba) just caught a frog and was moving over nearer the reeds to have dinner. Would have been a great shot with BIG GLASS! Ha!Tuesday, September 28, 2010

Did I mention I REALLY wish I had a 500mm lens? This is another shot at Famosa Slough... a 37-acre urban wetland/saltwater marsh. This Great Egret (Ardea alba) just caught a frog and was moving over nearer the reeds to have dinner. Would have been a great shot with BIG GLASS! Ha!

I love this! the little frog legs and then the reflection in the water are amazing.
This is lovely. I bought a 400 and it was so heavy I couldn't use it at all - I know tripod, tripod, tripod. But really, I had to sell it. Just couldn't see using it.
