I went just as the sun was coming up to Kirkland to photograph the lights and sights of early morning. I loved the leaves on the ground and leading up to the hall. I will be going back with a shorter tripod and not my purse to hold up the lens off the ground and to be able to get a more clear and straight on image. but I do like the tilt and whimsical feel of this one.

Okay, looking back, probably could have left almost all of these in original color...but I thought Black and white fit the assignment better for the images. esp giving the mood of the day and what I was thinking these fences were like...

One Color: As Shot

 This one was taken through a periscope in a submarine at the OMSI in Portland. 

This was an early morning color a few days ago....lots of blue/grey tones.

These were originally taken in color, and turned into black and white with a yellow filter in photoshop.

In September, I looked for a way to shoot our view of the forest fires across the mountains. Finally, the image fits the assignment!
