With all that's going on in this image, where does the eye go: to the messy pile of papers and the kid slumped over his homework, breakfast or, more likely, his smart phone.

the black and white simplifies the image and keeps the focus on the two subjects. having the stranger paper in the foreground makes me think the stranger in the background is bent over reading the paper. fantastic image!
