I wish it WAS spring, as I love the delicate color that comes with it. But you miss some things, like these birds nests, when it is spring.

Wonderful patterns! Are these Great Blue Heron nests?
i am not sure, I was across the water from them. (And even if i was right under them, unless there was a bird in one, I would really have no clue)
This was taken on the trails in Renton near the water/sewage treatment plant, just down the path from the renton grotto
Doesn't this make you wonder what kind of birds have made these trees their condo complex? They look too small for heron nests, don't they?
