I have been working with the Canon EF 50mm 1.8
I stood in the same spot, and focused along the rail
and was very impressed with how at each length the
lens gave a different perspective and completely
altered what I thought I wanted the image to look like.

Is this a zoom lens? It really does give a different perspective (literally and figuratively) from quite closeup and intimate to a wide (and lovely) view of surrounding trees. Juanita Park is one of my favorite places to visit.
No it is a set lens, which has been a challenge! But so so fun to work with!
