I like the soft cluster of colors. The lights below give the fireworks scale. Nicely done.
Last night's fireworks across the lake were punctuated by 'pops' from the neighborhood. The cats were concerned but didn't hide in the basement. This morning, I found matches in the alley behind my house.
I'm also impressed with your energy to shoot anywhere, anytime. It's fun to see what subjects you choose and how you approach each one. You learn by doing but we also learn from your photo exploration.
I loves how soft the colors were against the darkness. We had a group of about 25 people around, and we all sort of stopped and watched the show. it was amazing. These were on July 3rd, in BUtte, MT where I used to watch the fireworks every summer with my cousins, so it was really special to go back and do it again as an adult. Thomas and I then went to the Grand Coulee Dam and watched the show on the 4th of july there off the dam which was also really awesome!
and an EXTRA big thanks to your second comment :) As Michele told me once, I see everything and I want to photograph everything. Every thing has a story and it's fun to be able to write the story for whatever "it" is
