I wish it WAS spring, as I love the delicate color that comes with it. But you miss some things, like these birds nests, when it is spring.

Cold January Evening - Snow in the Hood

Pet portrait deconstructed

Finally managed to stage a portrait of both cats. I put Whiskers on the right, brought Deeter and a catnip toy, then waited for the shot I wanted.













I spent the next half-hour tweaking the shot in Photoshop.
When I returned to restore the living room, I found...

Something new

A new cat is a cozy addition to the family. I think we have a name.
