Fresh fallen snow on April 8, 2010 The train was sitting on the tracks at the Bayview Edison road off of Hwy 20 headed towards Annacortes. I really like the black and white of the train. The color is distracting to my eye but the black and white made it pop. Interesting lesson.

The shapes stand out in the B&W tree with logged patches on the hillside behind. Nice, cold winter scene. I like the amount of sky you included.
Yes, the B&W train has more pop. It also fills the frame.
