I really like this photo. It has a great angle view of the beach - I could be sitting in the sand watching the kite flying. The color is good too. Very reminiscent of the late afternoon sun - perhaps a little chill in the air to remind us of autumn. It is telling a very good and complete story by drawing out all of the senses.

He's in the center of his world with lots of sky and sand. It pulls us into the photo. The colors are saturated.
Did you want the world tilted? Flying a kite can do that.
